For many years, LIGNO® cross laminated timber products for construction and LIGNO® Acoustic for interior completion are being been produced from domestic wood, with emission-free adhesives, using wood in a material-efficient way. While life cycle assessment at building level is spreading, the market is asking for transparent sustainability indicators. Life cycle assessment is also required for the Swiss Minergie-eco system. After detailed determination of the characteristic values, Lignotrend achieves best level 1 according to the Swiss ECOBAU system. This in particular certifies low energy expenditure and a positive CO2 balance.
